eHealth Africa

Dr. Ravi currently serves as the director for medical and scientific affairs at ehealth Africa, where he designs and conducts clinical research studies in biomedical engineering, malaria diagnostics, and COVID-19 epidemiology. He also leads multiple mHealth initiatives with other global health non-profit organizations in areas including vaccine tracking data and electronic health records. He has designed and operationalized a network of primary care clinics in Northern Nigeria providing high quality health care. As Chief Innovation Officer for these clinics, Dr. Ravi has deployed point-of-care laboratory diagnostics and clinical decision support systems in communities of need.

Dr. Ravi has previously worked with the Surveillance and Population-based Prevention Unit to support the collection, analysis and dissemination of country level chronic disease and risk factor information to inform and improve public health policy. He used EpiInfo to compile and analyze risk factor data for heart disease, stroke and cancer, collected from different countries.
